Trees and Leaves CD-ROM and Book (Dover Electronic Clip Art) Review
I got a copy of this book/CD to have images for our wedding invitations and envelopes. I was more interested in leaves than trees and I think the book is stronger on trees, but there are many nice examples of both. The CD provides images in many formats and sizes (for print vs. web applications) and it worked out great. As usual Dover is pretty much the only company with anything like this and it’s reasonably priced.

NASA Space Photos CD-ROM and Book (Dover Electronic Clip Art) Review
Although some of these pictures are available online, it’s convenient to have them gathered on paper… and on a cd at high resolution. The pictures are breath-taking, and they print very well. I’ll use them in card making, and for decoupage. I’m well pleased with this dover book.

This is a fantastic resource book and the CD makes everything so easy! I have wanted to have clip art for my collages and cards and I was thrilled with the variety of clip art available–nearly everything works! I ordered a larger, hard-bound book in addition to this book, but I found more of the clip art here more usable and classic than in the more expensive, hardbound version. I have been looking for something like this forever and was pleased to find it and find it at such a great price!

Egyptian Designs CD-ROM and Book (Dover Electronic Clip Art) Review
As a long-time Egyptian fan I like this package as it comes with a CD ROM making use of the images within easier. It needs to be mentioned however, that this book is a re-issue of the older Dover publication “Ready-to-Use Egyptian Motifs” by Maggie Kate. What Dover has done is clever and inventive in re-issuing older documents while including CD ROMs and re-naming the book, but it is only mentioned inside the cover of “Egyptian Designs” that it came from “Egyptian Motifs”. I accidentally bought “Motifs” online not knowing that its image contents were exactly the same as “Designs”, which I previously owned. Other publications by Dover in their Electronic Clip Art series is very likely to have been treated the same way. Both books are good quality books and fun, I wish they had more images inside, but be aware if you do not wish to have near-duplicate copies.
Note that the comparison above to “Egyptian Designs” here is NOT the “Egyptian Designs” by Carol Belanger Grafton (also a Dover publication). Her designs are unique and different from either of the books mentioned in this review.
